OPI Quad Color!

Hi everyone!! Last night while catching up on my DVR, I decided I wanted to use a bunch of colors. I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to do, so I just kind of played it by ear. I started out with OPI's "Gargantuan Green Grape". I used three coats of this to get it fully opaque. It's like a minty lime green color and it's GREAT for summer! I will for sure be using this one a lot. It applied a little streaky/patchy but after the third coat everything was even and smooth! I then used a coat of Seche Vite to speed up drying time. I decided to break out the scotch tape. I taped diagonally across my nail and added OPI's "Mermaid Tears". This is a newer color from the Pirates Collection. It's a darker teal color and has a great formula and is easy to work with! I love the color!! Added a coat of Seche Vite and let it dry. That was a nice look on its own, but I needed more. So then I taped off a small diagonal section at the tip of the nail and added some OPI "Planks a Lot". This is another color from the Pirates Collection. It's a medium/light purple and once again, the formula was great. I thought this looked pretty cool, but I still wanted to go one notch higher. I broke out OPI's "Significant Other Color", layered it on top of everything, and voila! Significant Other Color is a very sheer polish that's like a purple/pink/green multichrome. I like it a lot over the purple color, but it muted the greens a little bit too much, I think. I like the shiny-ness of it though, and it's nice to know what colors I like it layered over!

Whew, now on to the pics!

Have a great day! :)
