I love Nfu Oh!

Ok, so real quick! Yes, I know I declared this week Forever 21 nail polish week. BUT, my Nfu Ohs came in the mail today... and this just cannot wait. I will do a dedicated post to the Nfu Ohs that I got (I now have all the holo ones), but here is a sneak peek!! :)

I suggest you click to see full size... Just sayin'!!

This, my friends, is Nfu Oh 64. And she is glorious.

Pink Wednesday! + BM Stamp & Nfu Oh 61!

Here we are, another Wednesday in the books! Next Wednesday, it will be June! I can't believe how fast time is going by! Today, I have a Golden Rose color for you. These have numbers, not names, and this one is 108. It's a rosey pink color, and is holographic.... although none of my pics do it justice! Maybe if it didn't constantly rain and storm here I could get better pictures, but alas, all I have are indoor shots.

In other news, I decided to stamp with Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in the color "Black Out", over my Nfu Oh 61. I used the Bundle Monster plate from the first collection that has the zebra stripe (Sorry, I can't remember the plate number!). I ended up putting some Seche Vite over top, so the holo is dulled, and I couldn't get a sunny picture this morning because it is storming the MOTHER LOAD outside. Anyway, here is a recap of the lovely Nfu Oh 61 from yesterday:

Oooooohhhhh look how pretty!!!!

And now with added stamp:

I like this, I just wish I could have captured a bit more of the holo from underneath! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Nfu Oh 61!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!!!! So, I know there have been about a gazillion entries lately on this polish, but there is a reason for it! It is by far, the most holographic nail polish I own, or have ever seen. I can't compare to the China Glaze OMG Collection, and I have one Kaleidoscope polish that I haven't used yet, and I don't have the GOSH holographic polish, but this one is off the hook! Even indoors the linear holographic-ness of this polish is outstanding, but just WAIT until you are in the sun!

So the only downside to this polish is its application. A lot of people say that you should use the Nfu Oh Aqua Base before you apply this polish, and they may be right. I don't have that base coat, so I used the gelous coat first. Then, the first application of the polish was horrid. It was soooooo streaky and patchy. Like you go over your nail like a regular polish, but it lifts some of it off as you go and you're left with a patch of no polish at all. After I did all my nails, I went back to the first one to do a second coat. This one was MUCH better. You just have to work kinda quickly. I then put a coat of Seche Vite, and then another coat of the Nfu Oh on top. It is said that a top coat will diminish the holographic effect, so I heeded that advice and did not put a top coat on. The polish dries pretty quickly and it is lovely! So really, since there are NO words to describe the color, here are the pics!

Even indoors, you can see the holographic-ness to it!

Thanks for reading! :)

Nfu Oh Where have you beed all my life?!?!?!

As most of you know, there is a coveted nail polish brand named Nfu Oh. As far as I know, it can only be purchased from Fabulous Street, or for an exorbitant amount of money on Ebay. These polishes are amazing quality and really something special. Even the polish bottle is adorable! I know they are well loved for their holographic polishes, especially the elusive Nfu Oh 61 (which I managed to get when it was in stock for about 5 minutes!).  They are also known for their "Flakie" polishes, which, when used on their own can be sheer, but when layered, can transform a polish and take it to a whole new level. Today, I have for you the amazing, luscious, beautiful, gorgeous Nfu Oh 51. In the bottle you can see flakes of blue, green, gold, pink, and purple. It is magnificent. It seriously is like magic in a bottle! For this look, I started with Essie's "Sexy Divide". This color is really pretty on its own. It's a deep purple with a glass like finish and has over tones of pink. Then I added the incredible Nfu Oh 51, and honestly, I can't stop looking at my nails! I'll let the pics do the talking!

Thanks for stopping by! :)
